The Dallas Stars are a professional ice hockey team based in Dallas, Texas. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The team was founded in 1967 as the Minnesota North Stars and moved to Dallas in 1993.

The Stars have won two Western Conference championships and one Stanley Cup championship in 1999. They play their home games at the American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas, which they share with the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The team’s colors are green, black, and white, and their logo features a star with a stylized letter “D” inside it. Some of the notable players who have played for the Stars over the years include Mike Modano, Brett Hull, Sergei Zubov, Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin and young superstars Jason Robertson and Miro Heiskanen.

The current head coach of the Dallas Stars is Rick Bowness, and the team is captained by Jamie Benn.
