Kevin Lowe Biography

Kevin Lowe is a Canadian professional ice hockey executive, former coach and former player. As a player with the Oilers during the 1980s dynasty, Lowe was a leader and helped the team to five Stanley Cups. The Oilers traded him to the New York Rangers, in December 1992. Lowe went on to win another Stanley Cup with the Rangers, bringing his personal total to six. Lowe was named to play in the NHL All-Star Game in 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1993. He also won the league's King Clancy Memorial Trophy in 1990. In 2020, he was named to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Lowe served as head coach and then general manager of the Edmonton Oilers. He is currently the vice-chairman of Oilers Entertainment Group.
