Duncan Keith is an NHL defenseman who currently plays for the Chicago Blackhawks. Prior to his time in the NHL, Keith played collegiately at Michigan State University as well as amateur hockey in the BCHL, the CCHA, the WHL, and the AHL. Following his one season at Michigan State, Keith was drafted 54th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2002 NHL Draft, making his professional debut in the 2005- 2006 season. With the Blackhawks, Keith has emerged into a top defender, earning two All Star nominations in 2008 and 2011, along with two James Norris Memorial Trophies for being the league's top defender. His play in 2010 and 2013 helped the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup in both of those seasons, and he has also won two Olympic gold medals with the Canadian National Team. As of the end of the 2014 season, Keith has appeared in 686 professional games, scoring 370 points, and is currently an alternate captain with the Blackhawks. ;
