Jocelyn Lamoureux is a forward for the United States women's national hockey team. She scored the crowning moment of her career when she notched the game-winning goal in a shootout to carry the U.S. over Canada and secure an Olympic gold medal in 2018. It was Team USA's first Olympic gold in 20 years. Lamoureux also set a record at the tournament by scoring two goals six seconds apart. She was previously part of teams that won silver medals at the 2010 and 2014 Olympics. Lamoureux is a six-time World Champion. She made her Team USA senior national team debut in 2009 alongside her twin sister, Monique. Lamoureux played one season of college hockey at the University of Minnesota and three seasons at the University of North Dakota. As a freshman, she finished fourth in the country with 65 points and helped the Gophers reach the NCAA Women's Final Four. Lamoureux was the NCAA scoring champion while with UND.
