Kevin Hayes is an NHL center that plays for the New York Rangers. The Chicago Blackhawks originally selected Hayes in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to signing in the NHL, he spent four seasons at Boston College. He was a member of the 2012 National Championship team but broke out as a senior in 2014. Hayes doubled his point production with 65 points and was a top-ten nominee for the Hobey Baker Award. He also won MVP of the Beanpot Tournament. After his collegiate career, Hayes signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Rangers. He debuted in 2014 with the franchise. He has represented Team USA on one occasion at the 2014 World Championships. His older brother, Jimmy, currently plays for the Boston Bruins. ;
