Jonathan Huberdeau is a native of Saint-Jerome, Canada and joined the Florida Panthers as the third overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft. He got his start in hockey by playing on the Ste. Eustache Vikings of the Quebec Midget League. Throughout his junior and major career played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and twice led the league in scoring. Upon entering the NHL at age 18 he became one of the Panthers top scorers, and has racked up 23 goals and 36 assists for a total of 59 points in 117 career games. He's also been a top performer for the Canadian National Team, scoring 6 goals and adding 15 assists in 17 career games and leading his country to a bronze medal at the 2012 World Junior Championships. In 2012 he earned NHL All-Rookie Team honors and earned the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's top rookie player. ;
