The Los Angeles Kings are a professional ice hockey team based in Los Angeles, California. They are members of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The team was founded in 1967 and has won two Stanley Cup championships, in 2012 and 2014.

The Kings play their home games at the Staples Center, which they share with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA. The team’s colors are black, white, and silver, and their logo features a crowned lion’s head.

Over the years, the Kings have had several notable players, including Wayne Gretzky, Marcel Dionne, Luc Robitaille, Dustin Brown, Jonathan Quick and Drew Doughty. The team is currently coached by Todd McLellan and captained by Anze Kopitar.
